smell was full og flavours, <b>the taste</b> is a burst of flavours! Baked white
fruits, oak, spices, pineapple - <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and I
could go on! <b>The finish</b> is long and turns very sweet, but still with all the lovely
flavours just behind the sweetness.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">If you just
get the right cask, you don’t need many years to make an absolutely fantastic
whisky, and this is a living proof of that! So much flavour already at age 9.
The name is spot on, and really gives this feeling. I will give this <b>91/100</b> (22/23/22/24).</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>The Whisky Vikinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09868666425339671644noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4690316061036022749.post-64944647388909491992020-11-14T21:51:00.000+01:002020-11-14T21:51:02.451+01:00Wild Turkey Rye, 40,5%<p><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKV2N1RWUGCvTU76_VUPZLgDpSLChRIMPUfGY1bBzfWix6GfwqDGnx6-5PvHkFNVmSyDPllyP_cKGtVz-ItoEBi2Qb69k4TUHCx2fYEe_K9KL-hnyZpXD5vcCcHe6vANW6GfSmNHEe2TQ/s487/Wild+Turkey+Rye+%252814-11-2020%2529.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="487" data-original-width="456" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKV2N1RWUGCvTU76_VUPZLgDpSLChRIMPUfGY1bBzfWix6GfwqDGnx6-5PvHkFNVmSyDPllyP_cKGtVz-ItoEBi2Qb69k4TUHCx2fYEe_K9KL-hnyZpXD5vcCcHe6vANW6GfSmNHEe2TQ/w188-h200/Wild+Turkey+Rye+%252814-11-2020%2529.png" width="188" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><b>Review #832</b></span><br /></td></tr></tbody></table><span style="font-family: verdana;">Kentucky
Straight Rye Whiskey, and it’s a mix of 4 and 5 year old whiskies. Spices at
first in <b>the smell</b>. Classic rye character. Burned oak and toffee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: verdana;">It’s only
40,5%, but it is very warming and full of flavours in <b>the taste</b>. Oak spices and
caramel. Almost a creamy-like texture! The spices and oak stays for quite a
while in <b>the finish</b>, so a glass of this, could last for a long time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: verdana;">When it
comes to American whiskey, I’m really enjoying rye whiskey, and this is no
exception! Maybe not the best rye I have tried, but a great example to what rye
is all about. I will give this <b>83/100</b> (21/20/22/20).<br /></span></p>The Whisky Vikinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09868666425339671644noreply@blogger.com0
