This is a NAS whisky from North America bourbon
barrels. The smell is peaty, meaty and filled with citrus. It smells a bit
young, but it still feels fresh and vibrant which is what I like about this
whisky.
There is a bit more peat in the taste. Right after the
peat you starting to get it mixed with citrus. In the finish you get some honey
sweetness, and some change in the citrus. It might be lemongrass.
This whisky is, like I said, young and vibrant. That’s
the good thing about this whisky, and what you should take it for. The balance
is not at all challenging in any ways, and there is no complexity, just
‘citrus-peat-citrus-peat’. Still a great everyday dram though. I will give this
84/100 (21/22/22/19).
