Review #50 |
The taste is mostly a mix of sweet notes and dried
fruit. The finish is a bit nutty, salty and some toffee notes. This reminds me more
of a coastal whisky than a Islay whisky. The peat is so light that I won’t
mention it in the tasting notes.
The balance is good, and the complexity is fine. A
great whisky and a bit different impression compared to other Islay whiskies,
and I love that they keep it at 46,3 %. I will give this whisky 87/100 (21/22/22/22).
