This Arran comes from a Sherry Butt and 612 bottles
were made. It is cask strength, so be a bit careful when you smell it at first.
After a couple of minutes it settles a bit down, and the sherry notes starts
rushing in.
The taste is filled with sherry notes. Very powerful,
both in alcohol and fruits like dates, plumes and raisins. In the finish some
more light fruits and sweetness appears and the dark sherry notes change to
some apricot.
This is so well balanced and for a sherry-head like
me, that loves cask strength, it goes straight to my heart. Give it some time
to settle and try with different amounts of water. I will rate this 91/100 (22/23/23/23).
