A batch of no more than 10 barrels. The grains PPM is
40, and the spirit is at 20. The smell has a lot of peat but no smoke. They use
Islay peat, but it is not Islay heavy in the smell. There is also some pork and
marshmallow sweetness.
The peat is predominant but still light. Some
different types of sugars appear in the finish like rum alongside the mellow
gentle peat. The good things from the taste dies a bit fast though.
A very gentle peaty dram. Good balance, but a part of
the sugars I miss some complexity. I will rate this 90/100 (23/23/22/22).
