From the series Cask Finishes comes this Port Cask
Finish. Light fruity flavours with the sweetness from the fruits in the end.
The smell is very mild even though that the ABV is at 50 %. A bit more power
and it would have been perfect.
The taste is a continuation of the smell. Light fruity
but with the classic characters of Arran. Salty and citrusy with a great, yet
mild, Port influence. Some darker fruits appear in the finish. Lot of raisins.
After a couple of sips the darker fruity notes becomes
more and more predominant. Fine balance and the complexity delivers what it is
supposed to. I will rate this 92/100 (22/23/24/23).
