The name is ’Summer Fruit salad with cream’ and it
comes from a refill ex-bourbon hogshead. Only 242 bottles were made. I feel
like I’m sitting in an old library reading old books. Vanilla, caramel and some
fruity notes in the smell. But still in that old book kind of way.
Very powerful at first in the taste, and then the notes of oak and
burned caramel starts rushing in. In the finish I get a mix of dark and fresh
fruits. Raisins, apples and pears with a creamy sweetness.
A nice old dram, and I must admit that I am in love with the finish! It is very powerful, so I would definitely recommend that you try it with some water. I will rate this 91/100 (22/22/24/23).
