It is
bottled at 51,5 % but it is surprisingly gentle to the nose. Toasted oak and
nice vanilla mixed with some sweet fruity notes. In the end, I find some sugar
notes, almost like the sweetness you get from rum.
Very
powerful! Dried fruits, sweet cake, burned oak and all very well balanced in
the taste. When the first rush has settled, a long warm finish starts. First
some fruity notes, but in the end it is almost only oak that is present.
A simple
but good Bourbon that delivers! You can easily give it some, or a lot of,
water. Don´t give it too much though, as it drowns and get a bit boring. I will
give this 85/100 (21/21/21/22).
