This edition is called ”Små fat, stor smak” which means small casks, big flavor and comes from a mixture of bourbon barrels, sherry casks and Swedish oak. A great mixture indeed! Some dried fruit, honey sweetness and oak influence in the smell, almost virgin style.

Loads of marzipan and some toasted oak in the taste with some honey in the end. If you make sure to get the whisky out in every corner of the mouth, some citrusy and bitter notes appear in the finish.

It started very promising in the smell, but the mixture of casks doesn’t work as good in the taste and finish. Adjust with some water if you like, it definitely mellows the whisky, but be careful you don’t drown it. I will give this 83/100 (22/21/20/20).
