Review #285 |
This is bottled in 2014 and is matured in
American oak barrels. First in the smell I get some sweet vanilla and some
honey just to make it extra sweet. Some light fruity notes in the background.
Mostly like sweet caramelized desert pears.
Sweet again in the taste but with the fruits
standing more out. In the finish, which is sweet but not too long, some more
oaky notes appear. It taste very young, but it doesnt matter in this whisky. It
delivers exactly what it is supposed to do!
This is just a nice sweet gentle dram. Everybody
can enjoy this one. Do yourself the favor and add some water. Lot of things
happen in both the smell and the taste. I will give this 84/100 (21/22/21/20).
