Edradour 14 yo (2000/2015), NCS, 57,9 %

Review #305
From Edradour’s Natural Cask Strength series comes this single cask bottling from cask no 3144. Only 686 bottles were made. A boost of dried fruity flavors and alcohol enters the nose at first. After a couple of minutes in the glass, the alcohol settles and some vanilla mixes with the dried fruits.

Heavy dried fruits and tannins in the taste. It just fills your mouth, and almost feels like it is expanding. Some sweeter notes comes forward in the finish alongside some fantastic oak influence. Some honey and fruit sweetness, but the dried fruits remains.

It just stays in your mouth forever and you really get the different flavors this has to offer. Some water really opens this up, so don’t be afraid to give it a go. This is the best Edradour dram I have had so far! I will rate this 87/100 (22/22/23/21).
