Tomatin Cask Strength (new label), 57,5%

Review #518
It is a mix of Bourbon and Sherry casks. Dried fruits and hints of dark chocolate at first in the smell. Some marzipan and vanilla sweetness in the end. A little white- and exotic fruits as well.

More Sherry influence in the taste. Oak influence in general with tannins coming through, but still light and fruity though. It has a sweet and light finish. Lots of apples and vanilla.

A very powerful expression from Tomatin, but still light and pleasant with a great Sherry and wood touch. Especially in the taste. It is maybe a bit simple, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I will give this 87/100 (21/23/22/21).
