This is a new peated 2017 release from
Wolfburn. Sweet apples, vanilla, grass and hay in the smell. Not fresh cut
grass though.
Lightly peated with citrusy notes in the
taste. Some vanilla sweetness, but not much. The finish is only medium long (at
best), and mostly it is only the light peat and citrusy notes lingering off.
This reminds me of many other Wolfburn
expressions, maybe just not as good… Sometimes you have to swing and miss.
Don´t get me wrong, it is not bad, just a tad boring. Still looking forward to
see what Wolfburn will do in the future! I will give this 80/100 (19/21/20/20).
