Review #738 |
The oak is
much more dominant in the taste. Rich white fruits and syrupy notes – almost
sticky! The oak is still the main ingredient in the finish. Not overpowering –
just the main focus. Some vanilla comes forward, as a great touch to the
experience.
The first
impression (the smell) was the best about this whisky! Great balance between
the oak, rich white fruits, sweetness and citrusy notes. It got a bit one sided
in the taste. Well, not that I found it bad – I actually quite enjoyed it. I
will give this 85/100 (22/21/21/21).
