Tormore 20 yo (1992/2012), Berry Bros & Rudd, 55,7%

Review #786
An uncoloured and unchillfiltered single cask from Berry Bros & Rudd. It´s from cask 100154. Dry oak, dirt and ripe apples in the smell. A bit strange combination, but the balance gets better after a couple of minutes in the glass.

Vegetation and those ripe white fruits again in the taste. The fruity sweetness is accompanied by some vanilla. Loads of tobacco and hay with the vanilla in finish. You don´t need a cigar alongside this!

I was a bit skeptic after the initial smell. But especially the play in the flavours in the taste and finish, really took me by surprise. What an interesting dram this is! If you are looking for a classic Speyside whisky, you should probably steer clear of this one. I will give this 87/100 (21/22/22/22).
