This should be tradition at every Christmas, just like Santa and the dance around the tree. The smell is sweet, vanilla, caramel and a touch of cinnamon. Now let’s try this! What a blast! A powerful whisky and the different tastes start rushing in. Again vanilla, oak, honey and the finish is filled with raisins. 

With water there comes some bitter notes, but else it doesn’t make much of difference other than weaken the whisky. But be careful with the water. This whiskies charm lies within its power, and to much water simply makes it go from a bully to a bullied kid.

Wonderful stuff, but if it wasn’t a cask strength, I think it would have been a boring ex-bourbon-barrel-whisky. But this is good and I give it 87/100 (21/22/22/22).
