Glen Elgin 29 yo (1985), SMWS 85.28, 44,1 %

The whisky is named “Once you pop…” and comes from a Refill Hogshead. 208 bottles were made. It smells like I’m being in a furniture store. Barley, vanilla, honey and light fruit on the nose as well.

In the taste you get some wood. Lots of wood! Light toasted. There is almost no sweetness in the finish.

It is a bit boring considering that it is 29 years old. Classic bourbon influenced whisky. I will give this 83/100 (20/21/22/20).
