This whisky is named ”Takes you to another place” and
that is exactly what it does! It is from 2nd fill port barriq and
147 bottles were made. It is from a port cask and it definitely shows in the
smell! If you love port influence, this is for you.
Wood, tannins, dried fruit and dark chocolate in the
taste – all the good stuff. The finish is just a nice warm continuation of the
taste. I could smell and sip at to this for days.
This is Longmorn at its best. I love port, I love
alternative casks, so what’s not to love here? A great single cask experience
from start to finish. I will rate this 92/100 (23/23/23/23).
