Longrow 11 yo (bottled 2014), Red, 51,8 %

Review #129
This version is from fresh port casks and only 9.000 bottles were made. The smell is full of dark fruits, oak and tannins. There are some chocolate, cigar tobacco and peat notes as well.

The peat really comes in the taste accompanied with some dark fruits, mostly raisins, and oak. In the finish the Port really comes to mind. It is so smooth with a perfect oak influence as well.

This is sweet, rough and smooth at the same time. Just a fantastic Longrow. I am really starting to get the hang of port influence. I will rate this 92/100 (22/23/24/23).
