Review #127 |
This from the ‘Individual Cask Bottling’ and is from a
hogshead. It is from cask number 3492 and only 248 bottles were made. The smell
is light and fruity and definitely not typical Macallan. More in the Irish way.
Light citrus, oaky vanilla and sugary grape.
Much more body in the taste. Some darker fruits,
burned oak and some slight vanilla. The finish is very smooth and some burned
sugar comes to mind.
I little different cask strength Macallan. Nice and fresh.
This changes a lot over time, so make sure to give it what it needs. I will
rate this 88/100 (21/23/22/22).
