This cask strength Arran from the range “Private Cask” is bottled for gWc (Glasgow Whisky Club). It is from a sherry hogshead and only 336 bottles were made. Dry fruity sherry notes in the smell with fruity and honey sweetness.

The taste offers a lot of tannins, toasted oak and dark berries. The finish carries even more sweetness from the dried fruits and it really sticks.

A really nice “dry” whisky! It has a fantastic balance and is very powerful in the taste. The smell, finish and the balance really makes this a whisky I am glad I encountered. I will rate this 91/100 (23/22/23/23).
