Review #212 |
Whyte and
Mackay own the single malt distilleries Dalmore, Jura and Fettercairn but also
make a lot of blended whisky. This is 22 years old and bottled at 43 %.
Sweetness from dried fruits in the smell. It is very light with some vanilla
and oak in the background.
Dried
fruits in the taste like raisins and ripe plums. Still with a fresh touch. The
sweetness from the dried fruits stays in the finish with some fresh oak and
vanilla. I get some hints of rubber notes as well in the end.
