The Quinta Ruban is finished in Port casks. Pour your dram in the glass and put a lid on it. Wait 10 minutes and smell it. The sweet Port notes pampers your nose. It is only a finish, but a great one it is! The classic sweet fruity notes from berries and some great oak influence mix together like milk on cereal.

The taste doesn’t got quite the heavy Port influence. A classic finish. Very much like the 10 year old with some fruity notes. Both some dried fruits and berries. The finish is not that long, but some fruity sweetness and light oak stays for a while.

A very well balanced whisky, with a finish that exactly is finishing the whisky with fruity notes, and don’t overpower the whisky. If you like the Glenmorangie Original, and you like a little fruity influence, this is you! I will give this 86/100 (22/21/21/22).
