Glenturret, Peated Edition, 43 %

Review #249
This is from the new range from Glenturret and this bottle is from batch number 1. It smells young, malty and peated with just a hint of citrus. Maybe some vanilla, but not much else is going one.

The peat and citrus is coming through in the taste as well, and even though it is young, it is quite pleasant. The finish is just a continuation of the taste, except the citrusy notes may become a bit more dominant.

It is a bit watery, so if they could have kept the strength at just 46 %, I think it would have been just a tad better. I think I stick to Glenturrets with an age statement. I will give this 79/100 (19/20/20/20).
