From batch 10 comes this single cask from a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon with the cask number 326. 452 bottles were made. Dried fruits in the smell. Ripe plums, fruit cake sweetness and toasted oak.

Some tannins at first in the taste with lots of dried fruits. The 19 years in oak really shows here! The finish is like you are chewing the last of a fruit cake, but not too sweet. The oak influence is so elegant and the balance between taste and finish is lovely!

This GlenDronach is quite mellow compared to the younger single casks. 53,5 % yet soft and smooth. I don’t need a dessert with this one! I will give this 90/100 (22/23/23/22).
