Ledaig 15 yo (2000/2016), Fadandel, 57 %

Review #391
This is from a Bourbon cask, with the cask number 71. Sweet peat in the smell. Malt and white fruits. Ripe apples and coconut with some vanilla sweetness in the background.

More peat in the taste. Very simple dram. Actually not much else happens. Some apples and pears and sweet vanilla. A bit more happens in the finish. Some leather and salted caramel, but the peat is still the dominating factor, and it is still sweet.

Not that complex, but an honest whisky. Quite pricy though. If you like the light and sweet peat whiskies, and of course Ledaig, this is you. I will give this 86/100 (22/21/22/21).
