Blended Malt, Whiskybroker, 61 %

Review #415
Not chill filtered and natural colour, just as it should be! Some light citrusy notes and vanilla in the smell. The oak influence is there, but almost non-existing. Even though it is 61 %, not much happens. Actually quite boring…

Very powerful in the taste. Some grass and hay with some light citrusy notes again as in the smell. Some oak (again not much) in the finish. And that’s about it… Just the same flavours from the taste that lingers out. At least it’s a long finish.

I don’t think there a many different malts in this one, and it must be some old refill casks… At least it is cask strength and you can play around with water. It both helps and changes the whisky. I will give this 79/100 (19/20/21/19).
