Review #619 |
The peat
and the oak work very well together in the taste. Some dried fruits and burned
caramel joins the show. The finish is very long and warm. Very sweet as well.
Sweet raisins and just fruity sweetness from the dried fruits in general.
I really
enjoy that sweetness the Sherry casks gives this expression in the finish. Very
elegant indeed and the cask strength makes it very flavourful! A bit pricy, but
it is a very good whisky. I will give this 89/100 (22/22/23/22).
