A single cask from an Amarone cask finish, with the reference AU618. Only 311 bottles were made. Sweet red berries and gentle oak in the smell. Light tannins, raisins and honey. I’m thinking of breakfast pancakes with mixed fresh berries and syrup.

Explosion of flavours! Cherries, burned oak and light caramel in the taste. Fruity flavours from berries with dried fruits in the background. The finish is long and super sweet! Vanilla, honey, syrup, you name it!

With this whisky, you don’t need the dessert! If you love sweet whiskies, this is most definitely you! If not, then you will probably still like this, as it still has a lot to offer, but you will probably end with a lower score than me. I will give this 90/100 (21/23/23/23).
