Tobermory 18 yo (bottled 2016), 46,3%

Review #726
This is matured in ex-Bourbon casks, and only 3000 bottles was released. Sweet white fruits in the smell. Over ripe apples and pears with notes of marzipan as well. Light floral notes in the background.

A little more of everything in the taste, with the addition of a dash of salty oak. Some sweet pears comes forward in the finish, alongside the salty oak - a great combo!

A love how Tobermory can make two so different expressions (Tobermory & Ledaig). This is very light and gentle, yet full of flavours and quite complex. The finish and the complexity is what makes this score high! I will give this 87/100 (21/21/22/23).
