This is called “95” because it is made of mash consisting of 95% Rye (and 5% malted barley). The expression is released in small batches. Burned caramel and red berries in the smell. Oak and oak spices – cinnamon and hints of sweet tobacco leaves.

Sweet vanilla joins in the taste. Mixes great with the oak and oak spices. Classic Rye! The sweetness really shines through in the finish. Sugary oak, and with the cinnamon it almost reminds me a cinnamon bun.

You really get the high Rye content in this expression! It would be great to try the best casks they use in these small batches, and I would love to try it at cask strength! Still, a very fine and affordable whiskey, so if you love Rye, you can easily go for this. I will give this 82/100 (21/20/21/20).
