Glenfoyle 12 yo, 40%

Review #757
This is a Highland single malt whisky from an undisclosed distillery by Longman Distillers. Vanilla and citrusy notes in the smell. Some white fruits as well, and in the background, some burned caramel peeps out.

Classic Highland character in the taste. A little roughness, some burned oak, vegetation, citrus and white fruits. The finish is over fast, but the burned caramel is actually doing an okay job.

Not a very exiting dram, and the whisky isn’t top quality. But if you can get it for next to nothing, then sure – why not? I will not be going back though – a bit of waste of time, and I will rather spend a little and get some better quality. I will give this 73/100 (19/18/18/18).
