Johnnie Walker 15 yo, Green Label, 43%

Review #756
This is the revival of the famous old popular Green Label, and it´s a blended malt of whiskies from Speyside, Highland, Lowland and Islands. White fruits, a bit of salt and citrus, and burned caramel in the smell. Some hints of oak as well.

Loads of things is going on in the taste! Oak, honey, canned fruits and just a touch of earth and a (little) dash of smoke. Some sweet vanilla comes forward in the finish and lingers great with some peaches.

Actually quite flavourful for a whisky watered down to 43%. Would love to try the old version, as it seems to be a bit better. Still a fine dram, with a little bit of each region in it. I will give this 82/100 (20/20/21/21).
