Invergordon 25 yo (bottled 2016), TBWC Batch 9, 49,8%

Review #765
This is from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, and only 1093 bottles were made in this batch. Creamy vanilla and burned caramel in the smell. Danish and some over ripe white fruits.

Sweet vanilla and just a hint of peat in the taste. No, not peat, but a very earthy flavour! Burned oak joins in the finish and the over ripe white fruits starts to show again with some grassy notes. Some honey is covering the whole thing along the way.

A strange mix of the sweet grain character and the earthy/vegetal touch. On the other hand, it is fun to try something different. Different, but good. I will give this 83/100 (20/21/21/21).
