Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, and it’s a mix of 4 and 5 year old whiskies. Spices at first in the smell. Classic rye character. Burned oak and toffee.

It’s only 40,5%, but it is very warming and full of flavours in the taste. Oak spices and caramel. Almost a creamy-like texture! The spices and oak stays for quite a while in the finish, so a glass of this, could last for a long time.

When it comes to American whiskey, I’m really enjoying rye whiskey, and this is no exception! Maybe not the best rye I have tried, but a great example to what rye is all about. I will give this 83/100 (21/20/22/20).
