”Vibrant – Fruity – Fresh” is stated on the label, and the taste/character comes from the European oak used for this expression. Very mellow on the nose (quite far from vibrant…). Malted barley and light sweet dried fruits.

The taste is a bit more flavourful than the smell. The malted barley is not as noticeable as in the smell, and the dried fruits comes a bit more forward alongside some vanilla. The finish is full of vanilla with the dried fruits in the background.

This is a bit too watery for my taste… It’s not bad, but perhaps a bit boring. This is a fine whisky to begin with or alongside a beer – not to sit and pick apart. I will give this 80/100 (20/20/20/20).
