bottles were made from a Refill Ex-Bourbon Hogshead. Lots of peppermint (like
After Eight) on the nose. Little by little you start to get grapes, oranges and
filled chocolates. Simply excellent!
The taste is fresh. I would like to say light fresh
sherry if that term existed! Kind of the expression you get from Fino Sherry
casks, but still lighter end more fresh. The finish is a bit sweet with hints
of fresh fruits. Mostly apples.
This whisky is just great with a fine balance and
complexity. The taste and finish is fine as well, but cannot live up to the smell
which is absolutely beautiful. I will rate this 90/100 (24/22/21/23).
