Review #153 |
There are hints of Port, barley, salt and fresh
seaweed on the nose. The smell indicates that it is a bit young, so I am a bit
worried about the taste.
It is not as young in the taste as I thought. Very
salty, maritime and fresh with a hint of the Iberian Peninsula in the finish.
You get some tannins in the finish as well, but not very much.
The smell is the weakest point of this whisky, and
that throws the balance a bit off as well. I would have loved if the Port
influence was even greater. I will give this 86/100 (21/22/22/21).
