Review #200 |
This is
from cask #3070, which was a refill sherry cask. Only 284 bottles were made. It
might be a refill cask, but regarding to the nose, it could just as well have
been a first fill cask they had used. Lots of creamy sherry notes but still
light with some fresh fruits in the background.
The taste
is dry. Not much fresh fruit here, but lots of the classic sherry influence.
Raisins, plums and some chocolate and nuts. The sweetness arrives in the
finish. Fruity sweetness with some honey notes.
It seems a
bit older than 11 years. Not much, but a bit. The balance and complexity is
very good considering it only had 11 years to connect with the cask. I will
rate this 87/100 (22/21/22/22).
