Jack Daniel's, Master Distiller #4, 43%

Review #695
This is the fourth edition in the Master Distiller series, and honours the first Master Distiller outside the Jack’s family, Jess Gamble. Sweet vanilla and banana chips in the smell. Very clean, and very sweet. White fruits (sweet pears) and hints of burned oak.

The burned oak is more noticeable in the taste. Still very sweet, and the white fruits is now accompanied by some exotic fruits as well. The finish is medium long, but gets a bit watery… Not much new happens here…

Luckily, at least, this is 43%. This makes it a bit more tasty and last a little longer in the finish. It is very classic, and I miss to be “challenged” a bit. If you’re just looking for a easy drinking Jack Daniel’s, this could be fine. I will give this 80/100 (20/20/20/20).
