A single grain bottled for Aldi. White fruits and hints of citrus in the smell. Vanilla as well, but as a clean single grain bottled at only 40%, you don´t get much…

White fruits, mild and mellow, in the taste. So weak it´s almost watery… Again just a hint of some citrusy notes as well. The sweetness is a little more noticeable in the finish. Sugary vanilla and some toffee.

It is not a bad dram, but under matured grain whisky with the ABV at a minimum is just plain boring. Always be cautious when a single grain has no age statement! I will give this 75/100 (18/19/19/19).
