This whisky is called “Drunken Cherry Coconut Ice Cream” and comes from a first fill ex-Bourbon barrel. Only 222 bottles were made. A boost of white fruits at first in the smell. Honey and wax with a little marzipan.

Some oak influence comes through in the taste. Peppery notes as well. Very sweet in the finish - like raisin sweetness and vanilla – but still with the oak influence. The white fruits accompanies the sweetness great.

Once again, an expression that shows that young whisky can be fantastic! Loads of alcohol, so plenty of room to play around with water, but that first fill barrel have really given this whisky so much flavour. I will give this 87/100 (22/21/22/22).
