Review #779 |
Mostly it reminds me of a classical Highland malt in the taste. Crisp apples, malted barley and a great burn from the alcohol. The finish is continuation, but some sweet vanilla mixed with burned sugars (nothing overwhelming) joins in.
The smell is a bit basic, but the rest of the whisky is actually quite well put together. Great balance and loads of taste. Maybe not that complex, but loads of flavours, and even if it´s young (and you can taste that it is young), it still delivers a great performance. I will give this 83/100 (20/21/21/21).
