This whisky is called “All in the game” and comes from a refill ex-Bourbon barrel. Only 207 bottles were made. Sweet and grassy in the smell. Lightly peated with hints of citrus and vanilla.

Sweet vanilla peat in the taste, with a little alcohol burn to go along with it. Again the grassy notes, but slightly more salty. A thick layer of caramel in the finish, and it stays for quite a while.

A fine young Taiwanese malt, with the finish as a highlight. Very tasty and the sweet peat really suits it. Not in the Kavalan league yet, but I will definitely look forward to new SMWS bottles from this new distillery. I will give this 86/100 (21/22/22/21).
