Review #778 |
What a kick in the taste! Heavy Sherry
notes again, but accompanied by aggressive alcohol. All kind of dried fruits
you can think of! Some vanilla mixes with sweet raisins in the finish, which is
looong. You will find some oak here as well.
This just shows that a Sherry bomb doesn’t
have to be old, as long as it is a quality cask. The alcohol is a bit much, but
after a couple of sips, it starts to open up. Else, you can easily give it some
(or lot of) water – even though I find the flavours better without. Water can
open up for a little bitter oak and soapy notes. I will give this 91/100
(23/22/23/23).
