Bottled for the Cadenhead’s Club, comes this 27 years old Sherry cask matured Auchroisk. Only 360 bottles were made. Oak and dried fruits in the smell. The tannins tickles the nose. Raisins and some cherries in the background.

Wow! Small explosion in the mouth. What a great mix of dried fruits and age in the taste! Sweet vanilla raisins and light toffee. Not as rich in the finish (still very good though). The oak creeps forward to measure up with the dried fruits.

Great Sherry cask matured whisky. The dried fruits are dominant with some great oak from the 27 years of maturation. Only thing I could wish for, was a bit more complexity. I will give this 89/100 (22/23/22/22).
