Inchmurrin (Loch Lomond) 11 yo (2007/2019), SMWS 112.48, 55,2%

Review #799
This whisky is called “A piece of paradise” and comes from a 2nd fill ex-Bourbon Hogshead. Only 280 bottles were made. Straight up candy store in the smell! Some light citrusy notes as well, alongside the caramel.

Sweet vanilla and caramel - basically just very sweet - in the taste. A bit of an off note as well, but can’t quite figure out what it is? Wet oak?? Barley and a dash of oak in the finish.

An extremely sweet Loch Lomond. Good, but be sure to start, and not finish, with this. Unless you wanna finish it as a dessert, of course! A fun and different Inchmurrin, which surely isn’t for everyone. I will give this 83/100 (21/20/21/21).
