Longmorn 25 yo (1993/2018), Malt dé Royal, 46%

Review #796
This is a single cask, natural colour, unchill filtered bottling by Gleann Mór Spirits, bottled for Golden Drops. It’s from a Bourbon cask. Very mild on the nose. Oak and canned peaches.

“Dark” flavour profile. The taste is dominated by the long period of maturation. Burned oak, a little dash of fresh white fruits in the background and just a little floral touch. Thick caramel is coming forward in the finish.

I miss a little more “play” in the taste and finish, and just a little complexity in the smell. The floral touch is hardly noticeable, but that is good, as it is quite misplaced. I will give this 83/100 (21/21/21/20).
