A single cask Mortlach with the cask reef. MR219. Only 277 bottles were made. A boost of white fruits and vanilla in the smell, with a grassy touch. It smells very refreshing!

After an initial burn, fresh white fruits comes rushing in the taste. Dessert-like white fruits. Burned caramel and oak comes forward in the finish, and accompanies the sweetness in a great way. Canned peaches all the way!

Take your time with this one! Leave it in the glass for a while, get it to open up and give it a splash of water (if you are into that). A(nother) great Mortlach, and Hidden Spirits shows – once again – that they know how to pick their casks! I will give this 88/100 (22/22/22/22).
