Review #837 |
The taste
is basically what you would expect from the smell. Peat, white fruits (green
apples) and vanilla. It's mostly the peat that lingers off in the finish.
This is a
VERY uncomplicated whisky! It delivers excatly what you would expect from a
young, peated, "cheap" Islay whisky. If you are looking for
complexity, you are definitely better off with something else. However, I think
there is a place for everything, and if you are in the mood for a simple
drinking whisky, this would be a great choice. I will give this 82/100
(21/21/20/20).
